El Padre Uriel nació en Páez, Boyacá, Colombia, el menor de 14 hermanos. Hizo la formación de seminario con la Iglesia Católica Romana en Colombia, México y Chicago. Uriel fue ordenado sacerdote y se graduó con una Maestría en Divinidad y una Maestría en Espiritualidad Cristiana de la Unión Teológica Católica en Chicago.
Uriel hizo la transición a la Iglesia Episcopal en el 2011 y ahora hace parte del equipo de Plantadores de iglesias en la Diócesis Episcopal de Texas. Father Uriel was born in Paez, Boyaca, Colombia, the youngest of 14 children. He did his Seminary formation with the Roman Catholic Church in Colombia, Mexico and Chicago. Uriel was ordained a priest and graduated with a Masters in Divinity and an MA in Christian Spirituality from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Uriel made the transition to the Episcopal Church in 2011 and now is part of the team of Planters of Churches of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. |
Mary serves as a deacon assigned to San Romero. She graduated from the Iona School of Ministry and was ordained in June of 2015. Here at San Romero she serves the altar; develops and oversees outreach programs and assists with other projects as assigned. She also has a bustling ministry with youth in lockdown facilities in Harris County and Texas prisons as well as women in prison. She has been on staff with Houston reVision for over 10 years working with incarcerated youth. She retired from a 40+ year career managing a medical office. She has a BA in English Literature. She and her husband Max have 3 grown children. |

Guadalupe is the administrative assistant at San Romero. Her parents come from El Salvador but she and her brother are native Houstonians. In addition to her staff position at San Romero, she is a part-time nanny as well as a full-time student at Sam Houston State University. At this moment she is studying criminal justice and forensic science. During her free time she enjoys reading, baking, as well as crafting. |
